inside out
Through this piece, I invite the viewer to reflect on themselves and their relationship with nature. From certain angles, the windows almost disappear into the surroundings due to their mirrored quality. Viewed straight on, they reflect the viewer standing among the trees. When standing between the two windows, space feels somewhat distorted. The panels sway with the breeze, warping in color and pattern.
Instead of being openings to the outside, these windows force the viewer to look within.
