inside out

Through this piece, I urge the viewer to reflect on themselves and their relation to nature. At some angles, the windows almost disappear into nature due to the mirrored quality. When looked at straight on, the windows reflect the viewer standing among the trees. When standing between these two windows, space gets somewhat distorted. It is intended to be a bit disorienting; the panels move with the breeze and become warped in color and pattern.

This piece turns the typical use of windows on its head; instead of being openings to the outside, these windows force the viewer to look within.
